On Fire For GOD

I don’t dwell on this, but I will say, I was heart broke to go back to church for the first time and see the changes. Things were not as they had been and coming from so long ago for me there was drastic differences. In my humble opinion, the fire had gone dim. I see it through a different set of eyes I understand, but all I could think is how God must be feeling. In my heart, I wondered what happened? It saddens me, but does not deter me; I make it a point to give God my all EVERY day and EVERY service.

One of the best things about my God is He only gives it to those that are truly desirous. He cannot, as with most everything else in life, be bought off. I am most thankful for that. Since God knows all about us, He requires an earnest and sincere heart. Only He can make that determination.

You don’t want to find yourself left behind when Jesus comes back, yet that is exactly where some will find themselves. We are so close to His coming. There are so many souls that STILL need to know God. There are those that are on fire and those that have let their lamps run low. The passion that once burned so brightly inside of you, He is looking to REIGNITE. He loves you and needs you to help bring others into the fold.

I have had those come up to me and say “they want what I have”. You are the very ones that God is looking for. He has the power, but He needs the hands, the feet, and the mouth to do His work. He is just waiting on you ...

The forces are out to defeat us, but we have the ALL MIGHTY GOD! WE WILL SUCCEED!

Let your light shine

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”  Matthew 5:14-16

There is a song I recall that the little ones would sing.

"This Little Light of Mine" expresses the idea that we must all let our light shine, not hide it, nor allow ‘satan to blow it out.’

In the last days I will pour out my spirit on all flesh

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:” Acts 2:17

I intend to have my name in the Lambs book of Life. God WILL say, “…Well done, thou good and faithful servant …”   Matthew 25:21

You may choose to call that arrogance; that is your prerogative. I call it shear will and determination from the ALL MIGHTY GOD! THERE IS NONE LIKE HIM! You make up your mind; no one can do that but you. But there is also power that comes from a made up mind for God!

I am COMPLETELY changed! I am not the same person I once was. She is someone that is buried and gone. I owe it all to God! By His power, love, mercy and grace all that I have and will ever be is thanks to God!

You don’t have to ask me who I think I am. I know …. I AM NO BODY! 

The kicker is God is pouring out more miracles faster than I can get all of them in writing. It is PROFOUNDLY OVERWHELMING! The MORE I THANK HIM, THE MORE HE GIVES ME!  Oh Thank you Precious Lord, I am FILLED UP and OVERFLOWING …. My cup runneth over. I am bursting at the seams. Never in my WILDEST dreams could I have ever imagined HIS AWESOME STRENGTH He has given me.

Exceeding abundantly                                                   

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20

A key element to any church is its youth. You have to keep them engaged and active if you want to keep them in the church at all. As a child, we had activities to keep the youth involved. Volleyball games, bowling, Put-Put Golf, Softball and Fishing.  We spent time together and formed a bond.

When we moved, our church had no such program for the youth; I can’t help but think would I have turned out differently had I been able to have them to lean on. Instead, I saw the bright lights of the world calling me and out I went. No one has the kind of time left that God gave to me. He is coming back soon. I do not know when, but of that much I am certain.

I am not blaming anyone but myself for the choices I made in life. I just want us to do ALL we can within our abilities to help our youth. And that is certainly within our ability. Our time is the least we can give. If they are important enough to God, then by all means, they should be just as important to us.

God’s children

“But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

“But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14

“But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” Luke 18:16

satan will try to defeat you, but IF you KEEP your mind made up, all he can do is try. When your mind is made up, he is defeated. My mind was made up on September 20, 2009. There is nothing he can do to change it. Any struggle, any battles that you may have to face, they will be worth it all some day very soon. For me it is all about the souls, I want them for Jesus.

God has worked on me in so many different ways. He is making me into what I ask Him to – to be more like him. Grant it, I have a L O N G way to go. With each step I get that much closer, but that is my desire. To get as close to HIM as possible!  When I leave this earth I WILL be one of God’s success stories – see I found the key, there is NOTHING that satan can do to you IF you have a made up mind …..

Stand on His word!

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

“But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Ephesians 5:13-14

We WILL light up this world with the little time that we have left.
